2nd grades will attend an 11:30 concert at Meany Center.

“Korean-born American pianist Min Kwon presents a selection
of pieces from her America/Beautiful project that commissioned
70 American composers to create a variation on the patriotic
hymn, “America the Beautiful.” In this educational performance,
Min will share stories of her immigrant experience in the
context of her musical journey, and will discuss the marriage of
music and poetry in the songwriting process.”
